Hmm how can i start how can i start i hate sounding so constructive or general or blah blah blah!
hmm ok facts:
I recently graduated in May of 2009 with my Criminology Bachelors degree. I plan to pursue a career that can lead me in a near future to open my own practice as a private investigator. yaaay like Sherlock Holmes! ok ok not that great but similar. I currently work for my city police communication department i dispatch police.
On the side I do like to run and work out for my assesment test in June for the State Troopers. Asides from that in my free time i do basically anything that jumps into my little noggin. Im not picky on what to do just as long as its fun and not planned..... I'm not quite a fan on those who are planners and always want every detail to fall into place. yeah... i cant do that so i tend to seem irresponsible when planning anything since it never comes out as planned well for my case.
Hmm family my old lady is Mexican... my old man is Colombian im a mix pup. I speak Spanish and am more intact to my Mexican culture. what else can you folks know about me.
hmm interesting fact:
i play the drums thats one i guess. i still play video games not all advance in technology now days since i lack time but i do tend to play a lot call of duty or dead or alive especially online. hahaha i find it humorous when guys find out i'm a girl its hilarious! I dont eat pork nor red meat but i like hot dogs weird i know. haha i tend to stare at people without even knowing. hmm what else i drink but responsibly i have friend drive yeah... so very responsible. :P

random rambles and a intro

hi everyone:
So i just logged in about a hour ago for the first time,here to make new friends.... and if some connection or mingle-ing happens.....then thats nice too*wink ,wink* lol
forgive me when I write I tend to write out a conversation as if I am talking to someone and not in letter form (which is all bad because that means fb took over those receptionist skills I once had,and I probably suck at writing proper emails..once again lol) ..On one side its good because you can actually imagine what I say *im that detailed hehe* however i can do the complete opposite and write some inside joke like you had to be there Lol.
I think this site is great, I don't think mixing races is so taboo as people say. love and friendship have no color boundaries. Where i live i rarely see asian guys and asian girls together,unless its one of those many "class reunions" at the local hang out places, or a family thing lol
But because the area is so small, i dont see many am+bw couples and thats so sad..its nice to know other women of color think that asian men are hot too haha and don't care what people or family who are old school say(well my case its because im taller then average and my friends are kinda short so i can see where the jokes come from)..pssht there are tall asians too .. some people out there likes a tall gal ,i can still look right? :D

this suit has never fit me. it was too big at one point and so i put it in a closet to sleep until the next formal occasion.
my, how you've grown, my grandmother tells me. be polite, she says, and stand up straight. i do, and my socks do nothing to prevent my ankles from showing. don't worry. your grandfather was a gentleman, and so was your father. charm runs in the family.
this suit was a gamble and i fucked it up by growing too much. we lost this one.
as i extend my arm towards you to dance, the cuffs reveal the pale underside of my wrists. you look beautiful in black; you always have.
i can't dance. i should have told you sooner. check out my collar, the button popped out an hour ago when i coughed. i stumble over my own shoes, more scuffed than anyone in the room's at this point and caked in mud at the bottom.
the song ends. we retreat to our table and i take off my jacket. that's better. i roll up my sleeves. are you having fun? i'm glad. oh, it's alright, i'm not one for a suit and tie though. yeah, i can't wait for the after party either. tonight's going to be great.
i go to the restroom to wash my hands. as i dry up, i notice that there's a loose string on my shirt. i start pulling it and my sleeve starts to unravel before my eyes. mesmerized by the motion, i continue to yank at it and the string becomes a pile at the sink. i can see my full elbow. my shoulders. my collar bone, my chest, my other shoulder, and then i am down to the cuff of my other hand. it falls away easily.
i continue to pull at the string. as the last pieces of my shirt are lost to the growing pile at the sink, the string's color changes to black. my belt falls apart, and my pants, and my socks, and my shoes, and yet, i can't help but pull. i feel a stinging sensation on my biggest toe. the string leads from the mess that has since filled up the sink and is now dangling just above the floor to the tip of my toe. they're one and the same.
and i pull. my skin comes off in sheets. everything is bright red and stains the once pristine marble counter. i tear it all off, exposing sinew and throbbing veins. i get to my face. i am blinded for a second and then i am free.
i walk out of the restroom and into the party. my feet make a soft, wet sound with every step i take. i find our table and you are sitting alone looking bright in black. you look up and smile at me. where have you been?
i was caught up in something, i say. i offer you my hand to dance once more. you take it and now i am all over your fingers, red in the candlelight. we move to the center of the room amidst all the other couples. sorry, excuse me, pardon me. no problem, they tell me. i left my mark.
we're under the biggest light in the room.
i put my hands on your hips and you drape your arms over my shoulders and around my neck. you rest your forehead against my own and you close your eyes. i would close mine if i could.
how is it that i can still feel you close to me?
i hold you tighter. the front of your dress is damp with me.
you rest your head on my shoulder, naked in the truest sense, and we sway in time with the music.
i'm sorry i was a little distant tonight. sometimes i'm not comfortable in my own skin.

basement
Submitted by Super Saiyan James on Wed, 02/10/2010 - 20:19to most everyone i am known as a really outgoing guy. we talk about parties and shows i've been to recently and i always have some story to tell. whose house was this again? oh, it was in another city. i took the train. it was so worth it though.
when i finish up they tell me that we should hang out soon and i say yeah, i'll hit you up. but i never do.
the honest truth i've never been to a party or a concert in my life. everything i have ever said about my life on the weekends is pure fiction. i can't even remember the last place i went to that wasn't school or my house.
instead, i have my basement.
it is unbearably hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. the floor is cement covered by a thick layer of dust and dirt. whenever i turn on the single incandescent bulb lighting the room i can see roaches scatter into holes in the wall. i have a garage sale couch set up against the west wall and a desk with a typewriter on it across the room.
the only other thing in my basement is an old television set. it doesn't have an antenna and i don't think you can even watch cable on it. i turned it to channel 44 a few years ago and i've just left it on ever since. all i get is static and white noise.

at least, that's how i imagine the conversation would go. the last person that was down in the basement was my dad after he helped move the couch. that was six years ago. and before that, well, who knows.
maybe my house's previous owners ordered it to be constructed as a bomb shelter. i could wake up one morning and be the last man on earth.
one time the power shut down during a bad storm. my television was turned off and for the first time in a long while my room was dead silent. my ears started ringing. it started off very faint and then the sound became painful. i was curled up on my couch for hours before the electricity started up again.
i missed the static, kind of like i think you would miss a friend. i swear on my life i saw it smile. i said hi to it and sauntered over to the television, sitting down on my knees in front of it. i couldn't tell you how long i was there.
i never want to lose you again.

proof that something has gone wrong
Submitted by Super Saiyan James on Wed, 02/10/2010 - 20:16I am always falling down or fucking up, and so my legs are mottled with countless pockmarks and bruises. Once, after an unfortunate accident, I was cut so deep that I could see the bone, white and obvious against the blood and dirt.
You need stitches, they said, because scar tissue is weaker than skin. It will tear again before you know it. I shrugged off the advice and put a bandage over it instead. After all, what was another cut to me?
I gave my wound a couple of months. My nurses were time and cotton balls soaked in rubbing alcohol. Eventually, I was left with a wide, pale pink scar for my trouble.
This old gash still tears open. I can expect blood soaking into the tongue of my shoe after football games and fistfights taken to the ground. Each time, someone older and wiser will tell me to see a doctor, and each time I have skipped the needle and catgut thread.
Every time this scar has split, I run my leg under warm water and wait for the bleeding to subside. I shake my head and marvel at my lack of foresight; my raw, animal stupidity.
Every time this scar has split, I have not cared enough to fix it. It is not a matter of money or adolescent bravado. It is not a reflexive ‘fuck you.’ Cut after cut after cut, it has simply never mattered to me enough—if only my scar could be as strong as my apathy.
Through the years of treating my ugly, gnarled leg, I have grown weary of the suggestions to get professional help and the people who make them. After all, they would be the first to make deep cuts in defense of deep-seated philosophies.
Stitch up and heal properly, they will say, voices lowering to a whisper as they finish. Heal, so that you are prepared for more cuts. Prepare to make more cuts.
We will do it for our country, and for God.
When all is said and done, I don’t think that either of us could care less about the cuts.

soo i succumed to making an account on this site. because of hounding from the TTC and CSF guys on stickam. it is a wee bit of a confusing place, I want to change my password because there is no way i will remebmer it. help?
i guess ill blog about my day...
soo today i pulled an all nighter and at 8 am my grandparents on my fathers side added me to msn. i havent seen or heard from them in 16 years. my father died before i met him and his parents only spent the first 3 years of my life ith me. im glad they found me and want to make up for lost time but at the same time its a bit surreal because they didnt want me in the first place!
then i passed out cold at like 9 45 and woke up at 6 30. got ready and went to my friend dave's house. watched interveiw with a vampire and donnie darco and got coffee then he drove me home in his BEAUTIFUL camero, 0-100 in seconds ohh it was gorgeous.
i think i have strong feelings for dave...which isnt good. guh why cant life just be simple. bleh. oh well. we shall see where my road takes me.
im going home for christmas. to my moms house...to my home town. im getting tarot cards from my momma. im really excited to learn to read the cards.
hmm well im going to go. im in chopstickfun and they are talking about putting feet on peoples faces. and me and a guy in my live are chatting about perverts and condoms :)
